The Gran Fondo Giro d’Italia Vienna is a cycling race for hobby athletes and the only city cycle marathon in Austria.

The start will be in the 2nd district. From there on the participants ride through a large public park, the Prater, circle the 1st district on the Ringstraße with all the famous buildings – state opera, parliament and theaters. After that they will reach the Danube via Praterstraße and leave Vienna on the Handelskai to get to Lower Austria.
